DTN Weather Summary

Bryce Anderson – DTN Meteorologist
Most Crop Areas Dry Monday

Moderate to locally-heavy rain is in store for the southern Delta and Deep South Monday. The rain will add to flooding issues from very heavy rain during the past weekend. Other primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop regions will be dry. Planting in the western Midwest and Plains will be slow after weekend rainfall. Frost potential is also a feature in the southwestern Plains wheat areas; however, temperatures do not appear to be cold enough to threaten heading wheat. » More DTN Weather Commentary
